Some familiar names are among the 14 people applying for an open seat on the Oshkosh Common Council.
The Council will be selecting a replacement for Lori Palmeri, after she was elected mayor last month.
The list of candidates include former Mayor Paul Esslinger, former council member Tom Pech, Jr., and Nathan Stiefvater. Pech lost his bid for re-election last month, and Stiefvater finished third in a primary for mayor in February.
Former Winnebago County Court Commissioner David Keck is also seeking the spot.
The Common Council will hear presentations from all 14 applicants on May 14th, and pick the finalist that night. That person will serve out a term that runs out next April.
