Developers have major plans for another portion of the Marion Road redevelopment area in downtown Oshkosh.
Merge Urban Design is planning three mixed-use buildings, featuring businesses on the ground floor and residential on the upper levels, on property along Jackson Street. Those would include riverfront units and single-family townhouses.
Assistant City Planner Mark Lyons likes that mix, especially the walk-up single-family units. He says that’s something they don’t have right now in the downtown area.
The Oshkosh Plan Commission is on board with the preliminary designs for the project.
