People are looking back on a man’s impact on the community.
Jim Kress was the chair of Green Bay Packaging. The Kress name can be found at multiple buildings in the area. That includes the Kress Events Center at UW-Green Bay.
Chancellor Gary Miller says Kress was an exceptional man. He says it’s not only what Kress gave, but how he gave it. He says Kress was sensitive to people’s needs, education, and the environment.
Kress died Sunday morning at the age of 89.
