The Oshkosh Common Council will select a new member tonight.
The Council will hear from 14 applicants looking to fill the seat vacated by Lori Palmeri’s election to Mayor.
Assistant City Manager John Fitzpatrick says the process will following what they use to hire at City Hall. He says the council members will determine who the best pick is for the position.
Tonight’s selection will immediately join the Council for the rest of the meeting. The person will fill out a term that expires next April.
