An after-school program for Oshkosh students is getting support from the state.
The Department of Public Instruction is providing a $200,000 grant for five years.
District Curriculum and Assessment Director Julie Conrad says they’ll be able to add a Community Learning Center at Webster Stanley Middle School. The money will also support the existing programs at Merrill Elementary and Middle schools.
Conrad says they’re looking to help students academically, and socially, through the program. With the Webster Stanley expansion in the fall, it will be available at nine schools.
