The California man who lost his cat in the February pileup on ice covered roads on I-41 is adopting two cats from Wisconsin.
Kevin Graves stopped at Almost Home Kitty Rescue, a foster program that helped with the search for Bastet.
The cat ran from Graves’ car and was found dead three weeks later.
Graves says the accident and losing his cat were the most horrific things that ever happened to him.
After meeting with about a dozen of the Neenah based Almost Home foster cats Graves connected with two and will take them back to California.
