Kimberly is the latest community to let people have chickens.
Village Administrator Dani Block says they have a number of rules. They include a limit of six chickens per house, and standards for the chicken coup and chicken run area.
She says that a license is required. Block says neighbors within 100 feet of the chicken coup have to sign off on the license.
The license costs $15.
