The man convicted of kidnapping Jayme Closs and killing her parents will find out today whether he could ever get out of prison.
21-year-old Jake Patterson will be sentenced in Barron County court this afternoon. He already faces two automatic life sentences after he pleaded guilty to the murders of James and Denise Closs. He also entered a guilty plea in March to kidnapping Jayme.
The 13-year-old girl escaped from a cabin in the Town of Gordon after nearly three months in captivity.
A judge will determine if Patterson should be eligible for parole at any point.
