The Village of Kimberly has a deal to redevelop the western edge of the former paper mill site.
Administrator Dani Block says they’re dividing the area into 48 lots for homes and two other lots for multi-family units. She says the development agreement calls for the housing project to create more than $21 million in value over a five-year period.
The site is just east of Sunset Park and it’s called the Rivers Edge subdivision. Block says about 10 of the lots are along the Fox River. It’s the latest sign of progress on the former mill property.
The paper mill closed nearly 11 years ago.
