Survey shows majority in favor of eliminating Lambeau Field Stadium District Board
Green Bay Packers fans are remembering legendary quarterback Bart Starr.
Starr died yesterday at his home in Birmingham, Alabama, at 85.
Paul Hayes of Janesville was at Lambeau Field, and he calls Starr a “true gentleman” and an ambassador for the franchise.
Gerald Lancour of Racine says his daughter once met Starr, and she said she was his biggest fan. He says she got an autographed picture in the mail, abouta week later. Lancour is calling Starr “a real person.”
Starr and his wife Cherry helped found the Rawhide Boys Ranch in the New London area.
