Law enforcement agencies around Brown County are reminding drivers to yield to pedestrians.
Officers and Sheriff’s deputies had volunteers try to cross streets in seven different communities.
Deputy Trevor Bilgo says it’s something drivers are taught from day one.
The volunteers wore bright yellow clothing and there were also signs in the street telling drivers to yield.
De Pere Officer Jedd Bradley says when they pulled people over they heard a common excuse — that the driver didn’t see the person.
