State lawmakers are considering a proposal that would help the hemp industry, and law enforcement agencies are raising concerns about one provision.
It would ban people from being charged with drugged driving, if they have trace amounts of THC from CBD products.
The state is one of 12 in the country that have a zero-tolerance THC law.
Sheriff’s, chiefs of police, and district attorneys oppose the possible change.
A Senate committee is holding a hearing on the bill today.
