Progress is slow on the proposed Foxconn innovation center in downtown Green Bay.
The Taiwanese company bought The Watermark Building along the Fox River last November.
City Economic Development Director Kevin Vonck says the company took over as the landlord for the other businesses inside.
But Vonck thinks Foxconn hasn’t done much with its own space. Last year the plans called for opening the center by the end of 2019 with about 200 workers.
Vonck says the company is preparing to renovate the second floor of the six-story building. He says the city is happy with the company as a landlord but officials would like to see more people in the building.
