Several hours before tonight’s graduation ceremonies seniors at the Appleton high schools had a chance to look back on their younger years.
Superintendent Judy Baseman says for the first time the district held a “Senior Parade” at every elementary school. She says the elementary students and staff applaud the seniors in their caps and gowns.
Baseman thinks it’s a great way to show elementary students what’s ahead for them. Seniors were paired with kindergartners for the parade at Horizons Elementary.
Two years ago Appleton East seniors started having the parades.
