A crash in New Holstein left two people hurt, including a three-year-old boy.
Police believe a 33-year-old Cleveland woman may have fallen asleep at the wheel around 8:30 a.m. Thursday. They say she veered across the oncoming lane on Milwaukee Drive, and hit a culvert in the ditch. They say her car went into the air, and she hit a vehicle at a stop sign on Jordan Avenue.
The woman in the stopped car was trapped, and she had to be cut out of her car. She was taken to a hospital.
The three-year-old boy was riding with the Cleveland woman, and he was flown by helicopter to ThedaCare’s Neenah hospital.
