About 320 Lawrence University students will get a diploma this weekend during the downtown Appleton school’s graduation ceremony.
Vice President of Enrollment Ken Anselment says some students walk twice, because they earn diplomas from the College of Arts and Sciences and the Conservatory of Music. He calls that a “very Lawrence thing”. He says most of the graduates will be from the College of Arts and Sciences, and 50 to 60 from the Conservatory of Music
The ceremony starts at 10 a.m. Sunday, but College Avenue will be closed between Lawe and Drew streets around 9 a.m. for the procession. He thinks drivers should avoid that area until about 1 p.m.
