A TV director is telling students at Lawrence University that it’s OK to not have everything figured out.
Director Lee Chemel spoke at the school’s graduation ceremony yesterday morning. She says failure and fear motivated her during her career. She says you don’t have to have one straight path because you never know what’s going to happen.
Chemel says she worked in many different fields before becoming a director. She graduated from Lawrence in 1965. She’s known for shows like Gilmore Girls, The Bernie Mac Show, and Murphy Brown.
