The statewide numbers for the housing market bounced back last month, but that wasn’t the case in the northeast region.
The Wisconsin Realtors Association is reporting a 3.2 percent increase in the state compared to May of last year. Sales slipped by four percent in the northeast.
Economist David Clark says there are still more buyers than homes on the market. He says prices were up 9.1 percent. He says that brought the median sale price across the state to over $200,000
The median price was down nearly one percent in the northeast region to almost $164,000.
