Two police officers in southeast Wisconsin lost their lives while they were off-duty.
Milwaukee Officer Kou Her was killed in a crash on his way home from work.
Police Chief Alfonso Morales says Her was hit by a suspected drunk driver. He says witnesses helped police find the driver.
Morales says the 34-year-old man already has four drunk driving convictions, and he’s on probation for his last one, in May of 2017.
Racine police say Officer John Hetland was shot last night, when he tried to intervene in a robbery at Teezers Bar. There’s a search for the gunman.
