A health care provider is expanding into Appleton.
Prevea Health is headquartered in Green Bay. Leaders plan to open an office that specializes in digestive conditions and treatments.
CEO Doctor Ashok Rai says a lot of patients asked for a location in the Fox Cities. He says a lot of families work in the the Green Bay area and live in Appleton, or vice versa.
Rai hopes it’s just a first step in the community and he hopes they’ll expand in the future. The Appleton office will be on E. Enterprise Avenue off I-41 on the city’s northeast side. It will open next month.
Prevea has over 80 locations in the state.
