An Oshkosh man will spend more than two decades in prison after he killed two women in a drunk driving crash.
A Winnebago County judge is ordering 49-year-old Shawn Schettle to serve 26 years behind bars.
He hit a train in the downtown area in Oshkosh in December of 2017.
Thirty-seven-year-old Emily Mueller and 43-year-old Jessica Roby were riding in the back seat, and they lost their lives.
Schettle ran away from the scene near the corner of Broad Street and Washington Avenue after the crash.
The case went to trial, and a jury found Schettle guilty of eight felonies. They include two counts each of homicide by driving drunk and hit and run involving death.
Schettle will also have to serve 26 years on probation after he gets out of prison.
