Kaukauna’s new police chief is settling into the job.
Chief Jamie Graff started last week. He’s been with the department for 22 years. He says he’s been a part of the hiring for half the officers, and he grew up with the other half. He thinks they have a great group of officers.
One short-term goal for Graff is to replace some officers that are leaving. He also wants to look at getting a second K-9 unit.
Graff took over for former Chief John Manion. Manion was with the department for 34 years and he spent the last 13 of them as the leader.
