A proposed transportation fee is diving people in Oshkosh.
An informational meeting drew comments in favor and against the idea of a $4.50 monthly fee to offset some of the costs of special assessments for street reconstruction projects.
Oshkosh Housing Authority Director Sue van Houwelingin wants the start of the fee delayed for those already paying assessments.
City Manager Mark Rohloff says any delays in payment would just increase the fee.
The common council will vote on adopting the transportation fee on July 23.
