Sen. Dave Hansen says they changed the language and wording from “may” or “shall” to one word “cannot”. He believes the language could leave Governor Evers with his hands tied.
Hansen believes Governor Evers and others are working on the budget to see how they can fix it to reflect the Democrats’ priorities.
