Strawberry season is coming late to the Fox Valley this year.
Dave Meuer from Meuer Farms in Fond du Lac County says the cool, wet spring is putting everything behind schedule. He says they do have berries, but not as many as they expected.
Meuer adds that spring conditions are leading to inconsistent ripening, so they will not be open for picking every day this season.
