An area lawmaker is taking over as director of the Fox Valley Memory Project.
Rep. Mike Rohrkaste of Neenah will head up the group that helps those affected by Alzheimers and dementia. Rohrkaste hopes to be able to expand a number of the Memory Project’s programs. He says they also want to provide more training to businesses to give better services to people.
Rohrkaste is well-versed in memory loss, having chaired the Assembly Speaker’s Task Force on Alzheimers and Dementia since 2015 and authoring a number of bills expanding services.
