Six hundred people will get a chance to be the first to ride the new 100 foot tall Ferris Wheel at Bay Beach today.
Tickets are $50 and all the proceeds go to the group responsible for the Bay Beach renovation project.
Manager Jason Arnoldi says it’s all part of a fundraiser.
The Big Wheel seats about 120 riders at a time and is wheel chair accessible.
It opens to the pubic on Thursday, in time for the Fourth of July.
Tonight’s event runs from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
