The Oshkosh Plan Commission is approving a TIF district for the former Aviation Plaza site.
The owners of the Mineshaft restaurant, Rogan’s Shoes, and the Extreme Customs auto shop are looking for $1.8 million to pay for improvements.
Commission member Mike Ford is questioning using TIF incentives. He asked if the project would not happen without the TIF district.
The Oshkosh Common Council will vote on the proposed Aviation Plaza TIF later this month.
