The Neenah school board could buy a large piece of land west of I-41 and sell another one.
District spokesman Jim Strick says they’re looking at 225 acres south of Winchester Road and east of Clayton Avenue in the Town of Neenah.
The price would be nearly $3.4 million.
The board is also looking to sell nearly 60 acres in Fox Crossing at the corner of W. American Drive and Irish Road.
Strick says the district is expected to make more on the sale of that property than it would pay for the new land. He says the school would pick up more than 150 acres, and still come out ahead on the deal. He believes the new property is in a more desirable location, off an I-41 exit.
The board could vote on the deal next Tuesday.
