Vehicle sales were up about 10 percent over the first half of the year.
More than 15,000 cars were sold over the first six months across Outagamie, Winnebago, Calumet, and Brown counties. Scott Quimby of Reg-Track says there was about a 10 percent increase for both cars and trucks. Trucks and SUVs accounted for 78 percent of all sales.
Overall sales rose by 26 percent in Outagamie County. Calumet County’s totals were down eight percent. Figures in Winnebago County were five percent higher than last year. Brown County’s numbers were flat.
