High temperatures are expected this week and construction workers are taking some extra steps to protect themselves.
Tyler Nackers is the safety director at Bayland Buildings in Green Bay. He says they train workers in CPR, and what to look for in extreme heat situations. That includes symptoms like nausea, dizziness, and light-headedness.
Nackers says the company keeps water tanks on trucks to make sure workers stay hydrated. He says they can also take extra breaks if necessary.
