A Republican lawmaker says the “send her home” chants at President Trump’s rally are “not a good look” for the country.
Congressman Mike Gallagher of Green Bay is also calling them “abhorrent.” He posted a video on Twitter, urging politicians to find common ground.
Gallagher says if things continue, Congress won’t get anything done over the next year. And in his words, “politics will became an exercise in the absolute absurd.”
Gallagher placed blame on both parties for escalating the situation.
The crowd at the president’s rally started chanting, while Trump was criticizing Congresswoman Ilhan Omar of Minnesota.
