Nearly 120,000 people in northeast Wisconsin had no power after the storms over the weekend.
Wisconsin Public Service and WE Energies Spokesman Matt Cullen says it was one of the strongest storms of the last 20 years. He says it knocked down trees and utility poles, as well as downing power lines.
Cullen says they’re working around the clock to try to bring back power. He says it could take several days for some customers because they have to rebuild circuits.
Cullen says outside utility crews from around the midwest are also coming to help with the restoration efforts.
