The Waupaca County Sheriff’s Department is praising 911 dispatchers for remaining calm and keeping people safe during the weekend storms.
Captain Shane Bazile says they got over 1,200 calls between Friday and Saturday. He says there was a call about every three seconds at one point.
Bazile says all fire and police departments were ready to report to any emergency. He thinks it was amazing to see everyone pull together to get through the storms.
