Winnebago County Sheriff’s deputies say someone was shooting at cars on Highway 116 in the Winneconne area earlier this month.
Capt. David Mack says a family reported 13 holes and marks on the windshield, from what looked like shotgun bee bees. He says when the department posted the details on Facebook, two more people came forward to report that the same thing happened to them.
The victims were driving on Highway 116, between Highways 45 and M, between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m.
Mack says they’re lucky no one was hurt. Deputies are trying to track down the shooter.
