The Calumet County Sheriff’s Department is reporting an 18-year-old inmate in the county jail died.
Sheriff Mark Wiegert says corrections officers found the man just after midnight, and he wasn’t breathing. He says the inmate was pronounced dead at Ascension’s Chilton hospital.
The department isn’t releasing any other details about what happened.
The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Department is helping with the investigation.
