A group in the Fox Cities that helps the homeless reached its goal to get a matching grant.
Pillars had 30 days to raise $30,000 to get another $30,000 from an anonymous donor.
The group’s Beth Vanderloop says the money will help at a time of the year when people typically don’t think of the homeless. She says they don’t see a slow down in demand during the summer.
The money will go to support crisis services and their stable housing programs.
Vanderloop says they’re still accepting donations.
