A run in Oshkosh Saturday will help support people recovering with drug and alcohol addictions.
It’s the sixth annual re:TH!NK Addiction Run and Walk. Organizers expect more than one thousand people and they can go seven, three, or one mile.
Tate Whitlinger started running after he got out of treatment. He says it’s similar to his recovery in that he has to take the running one day at a time.
Whitlinger started a weekly running group made up of people in recovery and people supporting them. He expects about 30 of them will be running Saturday.
