Special elections will be held in Appleton tomorrow to fill two open seats.
In the sixth district former alderman Greg Dannecker will face Denise Fenton. Dannecker is concerned about a development coming to the corner of Northland Avenue and Richmond Street. He says neighbors are worried about extra traffic especially trucks. He says there are concerns that people will try to avoid the roundabout and use other streets.
District six represents an area on the north side of the city near Memorial Park. We’ll hear from Denise Fenton today as well. There are two names on the ballot for District 15 but Hope Karth dropped out of the race and is endorsing Corey Otis.
