Former Hortonville village administrator Russ Van Gompel is the new finance director for the city of Oshkosh.
Van Gompel had been serving as interim director after the resignation of Treena Larson this summer.
City manager Mark Rohloff considers it an important addition to city hall.
Van Gompel served as an administrator in Little Chute in the past.
