The pilot that flew Air Force One on 9/11 18 years ago is talking at EAA in Oshkosh Wednesday night.
Retired Air Force Col. Mark Tillman says there was a lot of confusion that day. He says they had to prepare for the worst and deal with any potential threats. He says there were rumors of someone with a gun on the runway, and a plane that looked like it was flying into them.
Tillman says everyone relied on their training that day. He says everyone had to come together to support the president and help him run the government from the air.
Col. Tillman will talk about his experience Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at EAA.
