The house fire in Fond du Lac that claimed three lives was caused by smoking.
Division Chief Troy Haase of the fire department says based on interviews, and the location of the fire, they determined it was accidental.
Seventy-two-year-old Donna Frederick, 53-year-old Lisa Eastham, and 24-year-old Taylor Lavallee all died from smoke inhalation. They were on the second floor of the home in the 600 block of S. Military Road.
