The City of Oshkosh is agreeing to make a TIF payment to the owners of the bankrupt Menominee Nation Arena.
Fox Valley Pro Basketball didn’t meet the requirements of the development agreement with the city, and owes the city more than $20,000 for utilities and other services. The payment was supposed to be $430,000.
The city agreed to deduct the money that’s owed, and put some money into an escrow account to cover the city’s legal costs.
City Manager Mark Rohloff says the settlement is necessary to keep the arena running.
