The wait is over for “Hamilton” to open at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center.
The much-talked-about musical starts its three-week run in downtown Appleton tonight.
PAC spokeswoman Trisha Witt says there’s been a long build up since they announced in January of 2018 that the show would be a part of the 2019-20 season. People learned in the spring that it would be making its Wisconsin premiere in Appleton.
“Hamilton” will be at the PAC through October 20th, for 24 performances.
More than 600 people were waiting in line when tickets went on sale in August. That’s a record for any show.
Tickets are still available, and there’s also a lottery for every performance.
