A jury found an Appleton man not guilty on sexual assault charges.
Thirty-year-old Aaron Heiden was the first person in the state to face charges, stemming from a backlog of untested kits. He was accused of assaulting a woman 11 years ago in Winnebago County.
Jurors acquitted him of two felony counts.
