A Seymour farmer is encouraging others in the industry to take steps to improve water quality.
Val Dantoin-Adamski of Full Circle Community Farm says they graze their cattle on a perennial pasture. She says that keeps the soil from moving, and prevents contaminates from getting through the soil and into the ground water.
Dantoin-Adamski says it’s way of farming that’s also healthier for the animals.
She’s also looking at potential policy changes at the state level that could lead to cleaner farming.
