Today is the 110th anniversary of ThedaCare’s hospital in Neenah.
It used to be known as Theda Clark Medical Center, after Theda Clark Peters. She was 32 when she died, three days after giving birth to a daughter.
Senior Vice President Dale Gisi says her dream was to improve health in the community.
The hospital opened in 1909, on the sixth birthday of Theda Clark Peters’ daughter.
Gisi also helped show off some new upgrades, in the entrance area, during today’s celebration.
