The Oshkosh School Board will open bids tonight on the former Smith Elementary School.
The building was shut down over the summer because of roof and mold issues.
The District is looking to sell Smith to a developer that would maintain the historic exterior of the building and maybe convert the inside to residential units or office space.
The Board will also set the 2020 property tax levy tonight.
The budget approved earlier this month increases the property tax rate by six-percent.
Much of that increase is due to higher revenue limits included in the new state budget.
