A Neenah man will spend five years in prison for trying to meet an underage girl for sex.
Twenty-eight-year-old Michael Vaughn was convicted in Outagamie County of attempted second-degree sexual assault of a child and child enticement.
Vaughn thought he was going to meet a 15-year-old Kimberly girl for sex in June of last year, after talking with the teen online. It turned out an undercover police officer was posing as the teen.
Vaughn will also spend five years on probation, after he’s released from prison.
