A ranking is putting Appleton at the top of the best places in the country to live on a $60,000 household income.
SmartAsset considered the city’s monthly housing costs, and the average commute time.
City spokesman Chad Doran says the website also found Appleton has a low poverty rate.
SmartAsset included two other Wisconsin cities in the top 10. Eau Claire was sixth, and Waukesha seventh.
